Gerald Charles “Legacy to the Future” Watch Appreciation Event

In celebration of Gerald Charles’ 25th anniversary, Global Timepieces The Peninsula held a watch appreciation event titled “Legacy to the Future”, sharing the brand’s anniversary joy while embarking on a journey to honor its legends.
During the event, not only was the latest 2025 watch collection from Gerald Charles showcased, but the brand also specially air-freighted 11 rare pieces from its museum collection. Attendees experienced the exquisite craftsmanship of timepieces from various eras, reflecting the founder Gérald Charles Genta’s relentless pursuit of horological artistry.
About Gerald Charles:
Gerald Charles was founded in 2000 by the renowned and greatest watch designer of the 20th century, Mr. Gérald Charles Genta. Many classic timepieces, including the Patek Philippe Nautilus, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and IWC Ingenieur, are masterpieces created by Mr. Genta. He named his latest brand after himself, establishing a unique connection with his creations.
Mr. Genta is often referred to as “Maestro,” an artist and prolific watch designer. After selling the company in 2003, he continued to serve as chief designer until his passing in 2011.
Mr. Genta left the company important archives of his original designs from the past 11 years. To this day, many of these designs remain unpublished, serving as a long-lasting source of inspiration and a treasure trove for the brand’s development.
