One of the most sought-after brands in the independent watchmaking world, Czapek Genève, has officially joined Global Timepieces at its showroom in The Peninsula Hong Kong!
This luxurious VIP corner dedicated exclusively to Czapek held a grand opening ceremony recently. Brand CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel personally traveled from Switzerland to Hong Kong to join the Global Timepieces team in cutting the ribbon, officially unveiling this elegant and refined space.
2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Czapek’s brand revival and celebrates the 180th anniversary of founder François Czapek establishing Czapek & Cie. in 1845! From its legendary history in the 19th century to its successful revival through crowdfunding in 2015, Czapek has become one of the most sought-after luxury icons in independent watchmaking today, continuously writing an immortal legacy with innovative craftsmanship and passion.
At the event, Mr. Xavier shared touching stories from the brand’s 10-year revival journey and highlighted the unveiling of the year’s flagship new release—the Czapek Time Jumper limited edition watch.
Czapek Time Jumper: Paying Tribute to 180 Years of Heritage
This masterpiece, powered by the all-new in-house Calibre 10.1 automatic movement, features the world’s first 24-hour double sapphire disc jumping hour display, combined with a trailing minute display on the outer edge. This allows time to appear frozen under the central magnifying lens in a truly unique way. Gently lifting the half-hunter cover reveals the intricate skeletonized movement and recycled platinum rotor, perfectly embodying Czapek’s bold innovation and ultimate watchmaking artistry.
The 40.5mm flying saucer-shaped case in steel or 3N 18K gold flows like a spaceship. The three-dimensional guilloché cover creates a black hole-like light and shadow effect; when closed, the hours appear suspended, and when opened, the full mechanical spectacle is revealed in all its stunning glory.
With 60 hours of power reserve, 44 jewels, and luminous numerals for exceptional readability. The steel version is limited to 100 pieces, the 3N 18K gold version to 30 pieces, for a total production of 180 pieces honoring the founding year of 1845.
Czapek Antarctique Series: Masterpieces of High Complications
In addition to the Time Jumper’s heavyweight new release, the event also showcased other classic Czapek masterpieces, including the Antarctique Rattrapante R.U.R.—a split-seconds chronograph watch with a robot-themed design—and the Antarctique Tourbillon Glacier Blue, equipped with an in-house flying tourbillon and a captivating glacier blue dial. This allowed attendees to experience up close the brand’s extraordinary achievements in high-complication functions and aesthetic design.
